Danielle Fishel Completes Radiation Treatment for Cancer

Danielle Fishel, best known for her role in 'Boy Meets World,' has announced that she has completed her active cancer treatment following her diagnosis of ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) last August. In her podcast 'Pod Meets World,' she shared that she underwent 20 rounds of radiation, consisting of 15 rounds of whole breast radiation and five rounds of targeted radiation. Although she is relieved to be done with treatment, Fishel is currently experiencing painful side effects, including severe sunburn, rash, and extreme fatigue. She emphasized the importance of following her doctor's advice to exercise and stay hydrated to aid her recovery. Fishel will also begin taking Tamoxifen to reduce the risk of recurrence as she progresses in her recovery. Despite the challenges, Fishel remains optimistic, stating that the pain is temporary and she expects to feel better in a couple of months.
