Fetterman emphasized that his doctors have confirmed he is healthy and that he is following a strict medical protocol, particularly in managing his ongoing recovery from a stroke and treatment for depression. He called the public discussion of his medical history invasive and criticized the leaking of his personal health information as part of a personal grudge. Fetterman maintained that there is no truth to allegations of missing medication or additional undisclosed health issues, asserting he has been transparent about his depression. Despite speculation about his future, Fetterman said he intends to finish his current Senate term but has not decided on seeking reelection in 2028.
