AAP Demands Accommodation for Arvind Kejriwal

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has formally requested government accommodation for outgoing Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, asserting his entitlement as the convener of a national party. AAP Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha announced the plan to write to the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, expecting a resolution within days. Kejriwal is set to vacate his official residence within 15 days following his resignation. Chadha emphasized that all national party leaders receive office space and accommodation, highlighting that other leaders, including those from the BJP and Congress, have already been provided such benefits. He urged the Centre to grant this request without political bias and expressed hope that AAP would not need to engage in legal battles for this right. Kejriwal has stated his intention to live simply and relinquish all government privileges following his resignation, marking a significant personal commitment to his principles.
