Aidan Ross Signs With Queensland Reds

Aidan Ross, a 29-year-old prop for the Gallagher Chiefs, has signed a two-year deal with the Queensland Reds, effective after the 2025 Super Rugby season. Ross, who has played for the Chiefs since 2017 and represented New Zealand in a test match against Ireland in 2022, is eligible to play for Australia due to his Australian birth and early childhood in Gosford. He expressed gratitude to the Chiefs for shaping his rugby career and emphasized his desire to finish strong with the team in the upcoming season. The move to the Reds allows him to avoid foreign player status and be closer to family, as he and his partner have a young child. The Reds have already signed other former All Blacks, including Alex Hodgman and Jeffery Toomaga-Allen, adding to their robust forward pack.
