Calhoun Falls Principal Charged with Sexual Battery

Kalan Rogers, the 31-year-old principal and head coach of Calhoun Falls Charter School, was arrested in Spartanburg County for sexual battery involving a student aged 16 or 17. The arrest, which occurred on Friday, follows an indictment alleging that Rogers engaged in sexual acts with a minor while serving as a school administrator in Spartanburg between 2016 and 2017. The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office confirmed that the accusations do not involve aggravated force or coercion.
