A 50-year-old wheelchair-bound man is in critical condition after being shot in the head in a North Las Vegas apartment on Tuesday night. The suspect, a 45-year-old transient Black man, fled the scene and later fired at another individual but missed before being apprehended by police. The incident occurred on Yale Street around 9 p.m., and the victim was taken to University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The suspect has been charged with two counts of attempted murder with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm as a convicted person.
