Denver Air Connection Plans Denver-Pueblo Flights Starting May 2025

Denver Air Connection (DAC) will replace Southern Airways Express as the essential air carrier for Pueblo Memorial Airport, offering 12 round-trip flights per week to Denver International Airport starting May 1, 2025. The U.S. Department of Transportation selected DAC to enhance travel options for residents, providing a more comfortable jet service and greater capacity for passengers. This transition is expected to not only improve connectivity to Denver but also potentially open routes to other destinations like Las Vegas and Albuquerque in the future. Aviation officials emphasize the importance of maintaining a direct link to Denver to demonstrate community travel demand and attract further airline services. DAC's partnership with major airlines like American, Delta, and United will facilitate seamless booking and baggage transfers for travelers. The initiative includes federal funding of over $6 million to support the service.
