Steve Allan Wins Third PGA Tour Champions Title in Boeing Classic
Australian golfer Steve Allan secured his third PGA Tour Champions victory of the 2025 season at the Boeing Classic, overcoming a four-shot deficit with a bogey-free final round of 7-under 65 to finish at 15-under par. Allan clinched the win with a decisive 5-foot birdie putt on the par-5 18th hole at The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge, edging out 36-hole leader Stewart Cink by one stroke, as Cink missed a greenside bunker shot on the final hole. Golf legends Darren Clarke and Ernie Els tied for third place at 13-under, each shooting a 66 in the final round, while Alex Cejka finished just one stroke behind them. Notably, Greg Chalmers was disqualified for using a non-conforming club, and local favorite Fred Couples struggled to a tie for 47th. This victory ties Allan with Angel Cabrera for second-most wins this season, just one behind leader Miguel Angel Jimenez in the Charles Schwab Cup standings. The PGA Tour Champions will next compete at the Rogers Charity Classic at Canyon Meadows on August 15.
