Arthur Blank Sued by Flight Attendants

Arthur Blank, owner of the Atlanta Falcons, is facing a lawsuit from flight attendants Adele Pearson and Samantha Carlisle, who allege he hired his much younger girlfriend, Christie Buice, as a flight attendant despite her being unqualified, due to their romantic relationship. The attendants claim they were forced to work unpaid overtime to cover for Buice's shortcomings and handle the majority of flights for Blank's family office, AMBFO. The lawsuit states that the flight group was poorly managed and retained incompetent employees based on their personal relationships with Blank and other supervisors. Pearson and Carlisle report working long hours, often exceeding 70 hours a week, while being underpaid for their efforts, as AMBFO allegedly falsified time records. The complaint was filed in Atlanta federal court on October 18, highlighting systemic issues within the work environment of Blank's private aviation staff.
