Wales Leave Out Captain Ramsey, Ampadu for Kazakhstan Qualifier

Wales captain Aaron Ramsey has been left out of the squad for their World Cup qualifier against Kazakhstan due to a recent hamstring injury and limited playing time since his return to football with Mexican club Pumas UNAM. Manager Craig Bellamy emphasized that calling Ramsey up would be unfair given the travel demands and Ramsey's need to regain full fitness and consistent playing minutes. Leeds United captain Ethan Ampadu is also absent from the squad due to a knee injury sustained in August. Despite strong performances, Rubin Colwill was not called up as he has not played enough football recently, but Cardiff teammates Dylan Lawlor and Ronan Kpakio, along with Coventry City's Kai Andrews, were included as uncapped players. Wales currently sit second in Group J and will face Kazakhstan away before hosting Canada in a friendly five days later. The squad also notably includes three new Wrexham players, marking the club's first representation in the national team in over a decade.
