Bottega Veneta Opens Harrods Pop-Up Celebrating 50 Years Intrecciato
Bottega Veneta has opened a pop-up shop at Harrods in London to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its signature Intrecciato leather weave, a technique that symbolizes the brand's craftsmanship and understated luxury. The store's design draws inspiration from modernist architecture and the communal worktables of Bottega Veneta's artisans, featuring concrete-and-wood shelving, jumbo Intrecciato-clad chairs, and a centerpiece wooden table called La Tavola that showcases jewelry, fragrances, and leather goods. Exclusive items in emerald green and Barolo hues are available only at the Harrods location, alongside the debut of the Mezzanotte fragrance collection, which includes three sculptural scents housed in Murano glass bottles. The pop-up also highlights the artisanal process with displays of materials and works-in-progress, while walls are adorned with images from the brand's 'Craft Is Our Language' campaign. This milestone coincides with the upcoming debut of British designer Louise Trotter as the brand’s creative director, marking a new chapter that honors Bottega Veneta's heritage of craftsmanship. The pop-up runs until late September, reinforcing the brand's global reputation for luxury and its commitment to celebrating its unique artisanal identity.
