Another incident near Amery, Wisconsin, resulted in two people being airlifted for medical attention. In Red Lake County, Minnesota, a passenger was injured in a similar crash while the driver remained unhurt. Separate from deer-related incidents, a motorcyclist in rural Viroqua, Wisconsin, lost control while braking and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The Minnesota Department of Public Safety advises motorcyclists to avoid night riding and to use both brakes if encountering deer to mitigate crash risks.
