Delhi police have uncovered a fake visa racket operating for the past five years, producing 5,000 counterfeit visas worth Rs 300 crore. The operation came to light after Sandeep, a man from Haryana, was caught with a fake Swedish visa at Delhi Airport. His confession led to the arrest of multiple agents, including Asif Ali, Shiva Gautam, Naveen Rana, Balbir Singh, and Jaswinder Singh, and eventually the raid of a factory in Tilak Nagar managed by Manoj Monga. Monga, a graphic design expert, was producing 30-60 fake visas a month, sold for Rs 8-10 lakh each, using equipment like dye machines, printers, and UV machines. The police seized a significant cache of fake documents and tools, including 30 visa stickers, 23 visa stamps, and several passports. The gang communicated via Telegram, Signal, and WhatsApp, and had a network of local agents across various states.
