Panthers Receive 2025 Back-to-Back Rings
The Florida Panthers received their 2025 Stanley Cup championship rings at a private ceremony at War Memorial Auditorium in Fort Lauderdale, capped by a countdown led by owner Teresa Viola and tributes from GM Bill Zito thanking players’ families. The rings were created with input from Jostens and The Champions Collective and are handcrafted in 14‑karat white and yellow gold with more than 450 diamonds and genuine rubies totaling about 16.15 carats by the team’s accounting. Design features include two diamond Stanley Cups commemorating 2024 and 2025, palm-tree motifs, each recipient’s name and number, and a “BACK TO BACK CHAMPIONS” banner. Interior and design details nod to team lore — the inside reads “We Apologize To No One” and the rings include a small engraved rat honoring the fans’ rat‑throwing tradition — and players and staff reacted emotionally, with veterans such as Seth Jones, Aaron Ekblad and Sam Bennett highlighting the rings’ significance. The club said it will mark the titles with a public banner‑raising and a home‑opener celebration against the Chicago Blackhawks, and ownership framed the rings as symbols of the organization’s back‑to‑back success and familial unity.
