Villa Vie Residences, a cruise line based in Florida, has launched an innovative four-year cruise package named 'Skip Forward', targeting Americans disillusioned by Donald Trump's second presidential term. The cruise offers various options, including a one-year 'Escape from Reality' to a full four-year adventure, allowing travelers to visit over 140 countries and 425 ports, with prices starting at $40,000 per year or $256,000 for single occupancy. CEO Mikael Petterson clarified that the initiative is not politically motivated, asserting it aims to provide an escape for those feeling unsettled by political changes, regardless of their political affiliation. The cruise promises luxurious amenities, including food, drinks, housekeeping, and opportunities to engage with diverse cultures at port stops. Although the timing coincides with Trump’s election, Petterson emphasized that the campaign was developed prior to the election results.
