Assassin's Creed Syndicate Gets 60 FPS Update
Ubisoft has released a free update for Assassin's Creed Syndicate, enhancing the 2015 title with 60 FPS support for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, alongside 4K resolution capabilities. The patch, which is approximately 750MB on PS5 and around 31.8GB on Xbox, allows players to experience smoother combat and traversal through Victorian London. This update reflects Ubisoft's commitment to improving older titles, having previously provided similar enhancements for Assassin's Creed Origins and Odyssey. Fans of the game are excited to revisit the story of assassins Jacob and Evie Frye, as the update revitalizes a historically significant installment of the franchise. Additionally, Ubisoft has recently announced delays for Assassin's Creed Shadows, pushing its release to February 2025 while altering its seasonal content approach. The patch is seen as a welcome addition for those who felt Syndicate was an overlooked entry in the series.
