An investigation into the death of 10-year-old Leah Harrison, who died in a mudslide during a school trip, has concluded with no further action to be taken. The incident occurred at Carlton Adventure in Carlton-in-Cleveland while Leah was participating in an instructor-led forest walk. The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) conducted a thorough investigation and determined it was a 'terrible accident' with no one at fault. Nick Blackburn, chief executive of the Lingfield Education Trust, expressed relief over the findings and extended condolences to Leah's family. The local council also stated their thoughts remain with those affected but noted it would be inappropriate to comment further while an inquest is pending.
