Pleasanton Police Arrest Two Juveniles in Series of ATM Robberies

Two juveniles from Livermore, aged 12 and 17, were arrested by the Pleasanton Police Department for a series of ATM robberies across Pleasanton. The suspects, who wore masks and threatened or physically assaulted victims to steal cash, committed multiple robberies primarily between June 12 and June 20, using different getaway vehicles each time. During the arrest of the 12-year-old, police recovered an unserialized firearm. Both minors were booked into juvenile hall on first-degree robbery charges, with their identities withheld due to their age. Investigations are ongoing, and police have noted the rarity of such violent crimes involving such young offenders, also cautioning the public to remain vigilant at ATMs. The 12-year-old suspect was previously linked to numerous auto burglaries in Livermore, highlighting a pattern of escalating criminal behavior.
