Jamison Wagner Charged in Twin Arson Attacks on Tesla, GOP HQ in Albuquerque

Jamison Wagner, a 40-year-old Albuquerque resident, has been charged with arson in connection with two politically motivated attacks—one on a Tesla dealership and another on the Republican Party of New Mexico's headquarters. On February 9, Wagner allegedly firebombed two Tesla vehicles and vandalized the facility with graffiti, including phrases such as 'Tesla Nazi Inc.' and swastikas. Two months later, he is accused of damaging the GOP headquarters using similar incendiary devices, with graffiti equating ICE to the KKK. Authorities linked Wagner to both incidents through surveillance footage and evidence found at his home, including improvised incendiary devices. U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi emphasized the seriousness of these crimes, labeling them as part of a 'wave of political violence.' Wagner faces a potential prison sentence of up to 40 years if convicted.
