Neil Young to Perform at Farm Aid 2023

After canceling his summer tour due to illness, Neil Young is set to perform at the Farm Aid festival on September 21 in Saratoga Springs, New York. He will join fellow Farm Aid board members Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, and Dave Matthews, along with several other artists to support farmers facing challenges. Willie Nelson expressed enthusiasm about returning to New York, highlighting the resilience of local farmers amidst uncertainties and corporate policies. Young has participated in nearly every Farm Aid since its inception in 1985, missing only the 2021 and 2022 events due to COVID-19. Following a brief tour with Crazy Horse in June, Young had to halt performances when band members fell ill after a show in Michigan. The concert will be his first since the tour's cancellation, and tickets will be available starting July 26.
