Steelers Sign Andrus Peat, Retain Fehoko
The Pittsburgh Steelers have bolstered their roster by signing veteran offensive lineman Andrus Peat, a three-time Pro Bowler, who is competing for a role at left tackle after a successful tryout. Peat brings experience and versatility to both tackle and guard positions and expressed excitement about joining the team. The Steelers also convinced defensive tackle Breiden Fehoko, who considered retirement to focus on family, to return for another season; Fehoko has spent the past two seasons on the Steelers' practice squad and is seeking his first regular season appearance with the team. Previously, Fehoko played 19 games for the Chargers and was an LSU national champion. Additionally, former Steelers offensive lineman Lecitus Smith has signed with the Green Bay Packers, continuing his journey across several NFL teams and showcasing his ability at both guard and center.
