Sri Lanka Close to Victory in One-Off Test

Sri Lanka is in a commanding position in their one-off Test against Afghanistan in Colombo. After establishing a 53-run lead in the first innings, Sri Lanka lost three wickets in the final session; however, Dinesh Chandimal remained unbeaten on 101 and Angelo Mathews on 66, contributing to a 107-run partnership. Afghanistan bowled out Sri Lanka for 228, with Naveed Zadran taking four wickets. In Afghanistan's second innings, Ibrahim Zadran scored a maiden Test century, and Rahmat Shah contributed 52 runs before the visitors were bowled out for 296, setting Sri Lanka a winning target of 56.
