Henry Fieldman has made Olympic history by becoming the first athlete to win medals in both men’s and women’s rowing events. Fieldman, a coxswain, secured bronze with Great Britain's Women's Eight team at the Paris 2024 Olympics, having previously won bronze with the Men’s Eight in Tokyo 2021. This milestone was made possible by a rule change in 2017, allowing coxes of any gender to steer the eights.
