Rush will reissue their first four albums with Atlantic Records in a boxed set titled 'The Albums: 1989-1996,' available for pre-order starting November 1. The 6LP collection includes 'Presto' (1989), 'Roll the Bones' (1991), 'Counterparts' (1993), and 'Test for Echo' (1996), all of which have been out of print since 2015. Each album features original and reimagined cover artwork by Hugh Syme and celebrates Rush's influential legacy, having received a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2013. The boxed set highlights the band’s notable successes during this period, including 'Roll the Bones' peaking at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and 'Counterparts' reaching No. 2. The collection reflects Rush's evolution in sound and their status as one of rock's most iconic groups, second only to The Beatles and The Rolling Stones in terms of consecutive gold and platinum albums. This release comes after the passing of drummer Neil Peart in 2020, with surviving members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson occasionally performing together since then.
