Rover operates 24/7, conducting up to 24 patrols a day, autonomously navigating the complex environment to detect operational issues and reduce human error. This innovative guard dog is designed to open doors, climb stairs, and monitor vital machinery, ensuring that the facility remains efficient in its goal to electrify all its brands by 2030. With advanced sensors, Rover can detect gas leaks and evaluate battery temperatures, significantly improving workplace safety. Gonzalo Ejarque-Rinaldini from JLR emphasizes that such collaborations with robotics specialists are crucial for achieving their electrification objectives.
