Two Arrested in Fall River Gun Violations

Fall River police executed a search warrant leading to the arrest of Jonathan Spears, 33, for multiple gun law violations after discovering a .308 AR10 rifle and a Glock 19 in his residence and vehicle. In a separate incident, Neftaly Arroyo-Gomez, 25, was apprehended on Stafford Road after reports of him carrying a loaded handgun while wearing a mask. The weapon, modified to be fully automatic, was classified as a machine gun. Arroyo-Gomez is charged with unlawful possession of a machine gun and other firearm-related offenses, with local residents assisting in his arrest by locating the discarded weapon.
