This marks her fourth WBBL team, having previously played for Brisbane Heat, Hobart Hurricanes, and Sydney Thunder. Mandhana, a highly decorated player with two ICC Women's Cricketer of the Year awards, brings a strong track record, including a memorable unbeaten 114 off 64 balls. She reunites with coach Luke Williams, with whom she has had successful stints, including winning the Women's Premier League 2024 with Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The Strikers, two-time defending champions, are bolstering their squad as they aim for a third consecutive title. The WBBL draft is set for September 1, with the Strikers' first match against Brisbane Heat on October 27.
