30 arrested in Ohio

The U.S. Marshals Service, in collaboration with the Stark County Sheriff's Office and the Canton Police Department, successfully arrested 30 fugitives over a two-week operation targeting domestic violence offenders in Canton, Ohio. This initiative is particularly significant as it coincides with the approach of Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October. Notably, Robin Davis was apprehended for stabbing her boyfriend in the neck with scissors, highlighting the violent nature of some offenses included in this crackdown. U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott emphasized the ongoing commitment to justice for domestic violence victims and the importance of disrupting cycles of repeated assaults. Canton Police Chief John Gabbard also remarked on the operation's effectiveness in safeguarding the community from serious offenders. The NOVFTF has a long-standing history of collaboration, having arrested thousands of fugitives since its establishment in 2003.
