Oregon Rout Rutgers, Extend Road Win Streak
No. 8 Oregon routed Rutgers 56-10 in Piscataway, moving to 6-1 (3-1 Big Ten) and extending the nation’s longest road winning streak to 10 games. The Ducks piled up 750 total yards (415 rushing, 335 passing) — among the most in school history — and averaged a Big Ten-best 12.5 yards per play. Quarterback Dante Moore completed 15 of 20 for 290 yards and four touchdowns, while Noah Whittington rushed 11 times for 125 yards and two TDs, including a 68-yard score. Pro Football Focus gave Oregon a dominant 94.0 team grade, reflecting near-flawless assignment play across the roster. Rutgers managed just 202 total yards as QB Athan Kaliakmanis was 8-of-25 with two interceptions and was sacked three times, dropping the Scarlet Knights to 3-4 (0-4 Big Ten). Oregon coach Dan Lanning said the team played a complete game as the Ducks head into a matchup with Wisconsin next week.
