The New Jersey Devils have traded forward Graeme Clarke to the Minnesota Wild in exchange for forward Adam Beckman. Clarke, who made his NHL debut with the Devils in January, recorded 25 goals and 49 points in 67 AHL games last season. Beckman, also 23, played 11 games in the NHL last season and recorded 33 points in 51 AHL games. Both players were selected in the third round of the 2019 NHL Draft. This trade marks the second offseason deal for the Devils as they continue to make roster changes. Clarke and Beckman will likely start the next season in the AHL but will contend for NHL roster spots during training camps.
