Two Men Sentenced Over Separate Fatal, Violent Shootings in Tennessee, Illinois

Two men involved in separate shooting incidents were sentenced to lengthy prison terms in 2025. Legraine Devon Poston Jr. of Chattanooga received 47 years for a double shooting in February 2023 that resulted in the death of Keyshawn Kidd and the serious injury of Kiara Brooks; Poston fired multiple shots after being attacked and fled the scene without rendering aid.
