Lee Hulett, a 52-year-old man from Waterbury, was arrested in Southington after being found in a stolen 2023 Kia Forte alongside a stolen firearm and illegal narcotics. Police received an alert about the stolen vehicle around 8:15 p.m. and located it at a Stop & Shop parking lot. Upon detaining Hulett, officers discovered 29 wax folds of suspected Fentanyl, 11 grams of crack cocaine, drug packaging materials, and a stolen handgun reported from a burglary in Redding. Hulett faces multiple charges including possession with intent to sell narcotics, criminal possession of a firearm, and theft of a motor vehicle. He is being held on a $500,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court. The police continue to investigate the case.
