Culver's Raises $165K for Shooting Recovery Fund

Culver's restaurants across Wisconsin raised $165,000 for the United Way of Dane County's Abundant Life Christian School Emergency and Recovery Fund following a deadly shooting at the school. On January 6, 80 Culver's locations participated in a fundraiser where a percentage of sales were donated to support the affected families. The tragic event occurred on December 16, when a 15-year-old opened fire at the school, resulting in three deaths, including the shooter, and injuring six others. Community support was strong, with customers waiting in long lines to contribute to the cause. The funds raised nearly doubled the total raised by the United Way since the shooting. Other local restaurants, such as Texas Roadhouse and Noodles & Company, have also initiated fundraisers to support the school.
