UAE Conducts 75th Gaza Aid Airdrop Surpassing 4,000 Tonnes

The United Arab Emirates has been actively providing humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip through its 'Birds of Goodness' operation, part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, coordinating with Jordan and several international partners including Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Singapore, and Indonesia. As of recent reports, the UAE has conducted its 75th airdrop, delivering over 4,012 tonnes of essential food and supplies to support the Palestinian population amid ongoing humanitarian challenges. The UAE emphasizes its commitment to global humanitarian efforts, with leadership highlighting the nation's values of compassion and solidarity, and its status as a leading donor of humanitarian aid worldwide. Concurrently, Egypt has intensified its humanitarian role by facilitating aid through the Rafah border crossing, which remains open despite damage, and has supplied over 70% of the aid entering Gaza since the conflict escalated. International criticism of Israel's policies in Gaza has grown, with calls for sanctions and accusations of deliberate starvation tactics, while Gaza continues to face severe shortages, with aid deliveries covering less than 15% of the estimated needs. These developments underscore the ongoing international humanitarian response amid escalating conflict and widespread suffering in Gaza.
