This particular hat, crafted by the Herbert Johnson Hat Company, was part of the personal collection of Ford's late stunt double, Dean Ferrandini, and featured a more tapered crown than the original from 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' with the initials 'I J' in gold. The auction, conducted by Propstore, also included other notable film memorabilia such as an Imperial scout trooper helmet from 'Star Wars: Return of the Jedi' for $315,000 and a motorized Batwing from the 1989 'Batman' film for $406,250.
