Massachusetts Man Arrested for Dairy Queen Carjacking, Assault

Cameron Jack Suarez, a 26-year-old man from Clinton, Massachusetts, was arrested after allegedly carjacking a 55-year-old woman at a Dairy Queen drive-thru in West Boylston. Suarez reportedly threatened the woman with a gun, forcibly removed her from the vehicle, threw her to the ground causing minor injuries, and then fled in her car. Police issued a be-on-the-lookout alert, and Suarez was later spotted driving the stolen vehicle through Worcester and Leicester before being apprehended in Oxford following a brief police pursuit. At the time of the incident, Suarez was on probation and had a warrant for removing his electronic monitoring device. He faces multiple charges including carjacking, robbery, assault and battery, unarmed robbery, receiving a stolen motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Suarez is being held at Worcester County House of Correction awaiting arraignment in Clinton District Court.
