The Chicago Bulls have traded DeMar DeRozan to the Sacramento Kings in a three-team deal involving the San Antonio Spurs. The Bulls received Chris Duarte, two second-round picks, and cash, while the Spurs got Harrison Barnes and an unprotected 2031 pick swap. DeRozan, a six-time NBA All-Star, signed a three-year, $74 million contract with the Kings, where he will join De'Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis. He averaged 24.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 5.3 assists last season and finished second in the NBA's 2024 Clutch Player of the Year voting. The Kings hope his addition will bolster their playoff chances and improve their odds in the Western Conference. Meanwhile, the Bulls have signed center Jalen Smith and are reportedly considering trading Zach LaVine.
