Kneecap Wins Four Awards at BIFA

Rich Peppiatt's Irish comedy 'Kneecap' has made a significant impact at the British Independent Film Awards (BIFA), winning four out of ten craft awards, including Best Casting, Best Editing, Best Original Music, and Best Music Supervision. The film leads this year’s nominations with a total of 14, including for Best Film and Best Director. Alex Garland's 'Civil War' received accolades for Best Effects and Best Sound, while Rose Glass's 'Love Lies Bleeding' won Best Cinematography. Additional awards were given for Best Costume Design to Michael O'Connor for 'Firebrand' and Best Make-Up & Hair Design to Lisa Mustafa for 'Unicorns'. The winners of the remaining categories will be announced at the BIFA ceremony on December 8.
