Nirmala Sitharaman Begins Official Visit to Mexico, US

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will begin her official visit to Mexico and the USA on October 16, 2024. In Mexico, from October 17-20, she will lead a delegation to enhance bilateral economic relations, chair a Tech Leaders Roundtable in Guadalajara, and meet with her Mexican counterpart, Rogelio Ramirez de la O. Sitharaman will also deliver a keynote address at the India-Mexico Trade and Investment Summit and engage with the Indian diaspora. Following her visit to Mexico, she will proceed to the USA from October 20-26 to participate in the IMF and World Bank Annual Meetings and G20 finance discussions. Her engagements aim to showcase India's investment potential and strengthen multilateral cooperation. This visit marks a significant step in fostering trade ties between India, Mexico, and the USA.
