Pilot, son discharged from burn center after March plane crash
Matt White, the pilot, and his son Judah White have been discharged from the Lehigh Valley Health Network after receiving treatment for burns sustained during a plane crash on March 9 in Lancaster County. The Beechcraft Bonanza aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff from Lancaster Airport, landing in a parking lot at Brethren Village retirement community. Both were initially in critical condition but improved to fair status before their release. Three other family members on board also suffered injuries, while no one on the ground was hurt. The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash, with a preliminary report expected soon. The Whites' recovery from their injuries marks a positive turn following the traumatic incident.
