Scialfa explained that her diagnosis has made touring challenging, affecting her immune system and leading her to step back from regular performances. Despite these challenges, she occasionally joins the band on stage, finding joy in those moments. Springsteen has also faced health issues, including peptic ulcer disease, which impacted his singing. The couple's enduring relationship, which began in the early ‘80s and led to their marriage in 1991, has been a testament to their shared resilience and love.
