Subaru Plans Limited 2026 WRX, BRZ Series.Yellow Launch

Subaru is launching limited-edition 2026 WRX and BRZ Series.Yellow models, each capped at 350 units, debuting at Boxerfest on September 14 in York, Pennsylvania. Both models are based on the sporty tS trims and feature the exclusive Sunrise Yellow exterior, a color previously seen in special editions like the 2015 XV Crosstrek and Japan-only BRZ and WRX models, complemented by yellow contrast stitching inside. The WRX Series.Yellow is powered by a 271-horsepower 2.4-liter turbocharged BOXER engine paired with a six-speed manual and all-wheel drive, featuring Subaru Tecnica International-tuned electronically adjustable dampers, Brembo brakes, and 19-inch matte black wheels with Bridgestone Potenza tires. The BRZ Series.Yellow uses a 228-horsepower 2.4-liter naturally aspirated BOXER engine with a six-speed manual, rear-wheel drive, STI-tuned Hitachi dampers, Brembo brakes, and 18-inch matte black wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires. Interior upgrades include Recaro seats with yellow accents and an 11.6-inch infotainment system in the WRX, while the BRZ has a slightly smaller 8.0-inch touchscreen. Pricing will be announced closer to launch, and while these editions emphasize cosmetic and suspension enhancements, no major mechanical changes have been reported.
