Week 5 Kickoffs, LSU 2026 Conference Slate

Broadcasters released kickoff times and networks for Week 5 (Oct. 4), with a Big 12 late‑morning window highlighted by Kansas State hosting UCF in an 11 a.m. window on FS1 and Kansas State’s trip to Baylor also set for an 11 a.m. kickoff; Cincinnati–Kansas and Iowa State–Cincinnati also landed in the late‑morning slate (Iowa State at Cincinnati is listed at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN2). Other Oct. 4 times include Michigan State at Nebraska at 4 p.m. on FS1, Ohio State vs. Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. at Ohio Stadium, Syracuse at SMU at 3:30 p.m. (ESPN2/ACC Network decision TBD) and Clemson at North Carolina at noon on ESPN. The SEC released LSU’s 2026–2029 conference slates, confirming permanent conference opponents Texas A&M, Ole Miss and Arkansas and showing LSU will host Clemson, Texas A&M, Alabama, Mississippi State and Texas in 2026. UCF published its full schedule (including a Sept. 27 trip to Manhattan) and said it is mourning the death of offensive line coach Shawn Clark; UCF’s game against Kansas was also listed for 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2. Other confirmed dates and notes include Arizona State vs. Arizona on Nov. 28 at 9 p.m. ET (7 p.m. local), Colorado State’s Nov. 28 finale vs. Air Force at 1 p.m. on FS1, and additional scheduling updates for Mizzou basketball and Vanderbilt’s upcoming Utah State matchup.
