Fall TV Premieres Adjusted for VP Debate

The upcoming vice presidential debate between Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and U.S. Senator JD Vance on October 1 has prompted several networks to adjust their Fall TV premiere schedules. NBC has moved the Season 2 premiere of 'The Irrational' to October 8 at 10 PM, following a two-hour edition of 'The Voice'. Fox has also delayed the Season 2 premiere of 'Accused' to the same date, while the second episode of 'Murder in a Small Town' will still air on October 1 but at 8 PM, leading into the debate. The CW will proceed with its original plan to launch 'WWE NXT' live on October 1, and ABC has a new episode of 'Dancing With the Stars' scheduled for that night. The debate season will kick off on September 10 with a face-off between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump.
