Brandon Blackstock Dies at Montana Ranch After Cancer Battle

Brandon Blackstock, the former husband of Kelly Clarkson and a talent manager, spent his final years living a quiet life on his $1.8 million ranch in Butte, Montana, where he ran cattle companies and founded a rodeo. Diagnosed with melanoma, a form of skin cancer, he bravely battled the illness for over three years and died peacefully at home surrounded by family. In the months before his death, he prioritized treatment and spent significant time with his children, including visits from Clarkson and their two kids. Despite their divorce finalized in 2022, Clarkson made efforts to ensure their children could spend time with Blackstock during his illness. Blackstock maintained close relationships with his children from both marriages and was a grandfather to two grandchildren. His brother Shelby Blackstock and other family members shared tributes mourning the tremendous loss to their family.
