Myleene Klass Honored for Miscarriage Advocacy and Charity

Myleene Klass, a former singer and TV presenter, has been awarded an MBE in the New Year Honours for her advocacy in women's health, miscarriage awareness, and charity work. Klass, who has suffered four miscarriages, has been a vocal campaigner for government reforms to improve miscarriage care, advocating for early support rather than waiting for women to experience three miscarriages. Her efforts have contributed to the Women's Health Strategy reforms, aiming to provide medical intervention after each miscarriage. Klass has also been recognized for her BAFTA-nominated documentary, 'Miscarriage And Me,' which addresses the emotional impact of baby loss. She expressed pride in being a figurehead to help other women and emphasized that miscarriage should not be a 'dark secret' that is hidden. The Department of Health and Social Care has announced new measures to support women's health, reflecting the impact of her advocacy.
