The film collected Rs 555 crore globally in just four days and Rs 343.6 crore in India by day five, making it one of India's highest-grossing films. Its narrative, inspired by Hindu scriptures and set in a dystopian future, revolves around Prabhas' character Bhairava, a bounty hunter, and Deepika Padukone's Sumati, who is pivotal in the prophecy of Vishnu's tenth incarnation.
