Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl spent a fourth straight week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, earning 146,000 equivalent album units in the tracking week ending Oct. 30, according to Luminate. Streaming helped drive the total, with 121,000 of those units coming from SEA, and the run extended Swift’s solo records—she now has 90 career weeks at No. 1 and 15 No. 1 albums. The album was the second record in 2025 to spend its first month atop the chart, after Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem. On the Hot 100, “The Fate of Ophelia” held at No. 1 for a fourth week, a run boosted by a limited-time release of “Alone in My Tower (Acoustic Version).” Competing albums included the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack at No. 2 (84,000 units) and Wallen at No. 3 (76,000), while new top-10 entries included Daniel Caesar (No. 4, 43,000), Brandi Carlile (No. 7, 35,000) and Demi Lovato (No. 9, 31,000). Critics remain divided on Showgirl’s tone and consistency, but its commercial dominance and chart milestones are clear.
