Bloc Party Reveals 20th Anniversary Silent Alarm Reissue

Bloc Party are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album 'Silent Alarm' with an expansive reissue set for release on September 26. The deluxe box set includes four LPs: the original album, a collection of 12 B-sides and rarities, the band's 2004 John Peel BBC Radio 1 session, and seven original demos—both the Peel session and demos are being made commercially available for the first time. Additional formats will be available, including a 2xLP edition, 2xCD edition, and an Amazon Music exclusive vinyl. To commemorate the anniversary, Bloc Party are also embarking on an extensive world tour throughout 2024, performing the album in its entirety at venues across North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. The reissue provides fans with a deeper look at the band's early years and musical evolution, featuring rare and previously unreleased material.
