Two Dead Three Injured Including Infant in Reno County Head-On Crash

A tragic head-on collision occurred on Monday morning near Nickerson in Reno County, Kansas, involving a silver Subaru SUV and a red Ford F-150 pickup truck. The Subaru, traveling northbound, crossed the center line into the southbound lane and collided with the Ford, which had attempted to avoid the crash by pulling onto the shoulder. Two of the four occupants in the Subaru, including an infant, died at the scene, while the infant and another passenger were hospitalized and later transferred to Wichita. The sole occupant of the Ford was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
